Would you like to learn more about gardening by getting your hands in the dirt? So many people would.
Our volunteers have said that the mental benefits of volunteering range from a general sense of "feeling good" as a result of working in the garden, to a more complex sense of "self-therapy" as they promote their health and well-being.

Depending on the age level and number of kids
As Master Gardeners, we can suggest ideas for:
"Scavenger Hunt", "Team Hunt", "Fill the Basket", "I Spy" , and "What's Under the Magnifying Glass?"...all to discover interesting insects, birds, frogs, flowers.
"Make n' Take" activities, such as: Planting Veggie/Flower Seeds; Identification Journal; Bird Seed Balls; Native Bee House, or Egg Carton Treasure Box.
